Big Green Egg Grass Fed Steak
For all the BGE enthusiasts, this is Barry's method of cooking the perfect grass-fed steak.

Ingredients

  • (2 - 4) Bales Farms Grass-fed Steak
  • (2 tsp) Sea Salt
  • (1 TBS) Olive Oil

Directions

Great Grass Fed Steak


  1. Thaw steaks
  2. Rub with olive oil and good quality salt
  3. Heat BGE to 650 - 700 degrees
  4. Cook steaks 1:15 over direct heat, then rotate 180 degrees and cook for an additional 1:15
  5. Flip steaks over and repeat step 4.
  6. When finished, put a pat of butter on each steak.
  7. Cap egg and close vent completely, let sit for 4 minutes.
  8. Remove steaks to plate and cover with foil.
  9. Rest steaks 10 minutes at room temperature.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
