We’re gonna jump right in here. These books are in no particular order, just listed as I thought of them. This novel, The Covenant of Water was a book club pick and I was very hesitant to pick it up because I generally don’t enjoy Oprah picks. (I know that’s a spicy take going up against the queen bee but usually I feel like her books are morose.) If you have a love of human anatomy, history and/or people in general I believe this is a must read. I’m so thankful my friend Jennifer Lawson picked it!

Oh Jayber. Sweet sweet Jayber. I’m so thankful I got this book as a gift from my friends Rory Feek and Rebecca Lamb. I have always been a fan of Mr. Berry’s nonfiction work and didn’t even realize he had fiction novels out. I’m so grateful I was able to read this book! I will also say this book is a fantastic audible choice.

I gave The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan a 5/5 rating (all three of these actually) because it was so different and I hadn’t read anything like it before. Just a sweet story and I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit with these lovely characters. Also I'm a sucker for a beautiful cover and this book has one that's just breathtaking!

So that’s my list of the three favorites so far this summer. I’d love to know what you’re reading and loving this summer!

Enjoy these long, hot days my friends!
