"Mallard Curl" cocktail recipe

One of my favorite pursuits is waterfowl hunting. There's so many things about it that I love. The birds, the dogs, the shotguns, the scenery. And one of the best parts is the camaraderie. Whether it be in a 5-star lodge or around a fire ring next to a tractor shed, the friendships and laughter are a true treasure. Duck hunters are famous for recounting the morning's hunt over a libation in the evening, so in honor of Duck Season 20-21, I decided to come up with my own cocktail for the occasion.

Mallard Curl

1&1/2 oz Pritchard's Sweet Lucy liqueur

3/4 oz Campari

1/2 oz Cognac

3 dashes Grapefruit Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and stir. Serve in a coupe glass. Garnish with lemon or lime slice.
