Hey everybody! I can’t believe I haven’t shared my recipe with you for these easy cookies but I don’t think I have. These chocolate chip cookies are easy, fast, delicious and I bet you have everything on hand you need to bake them. If you don’t have what you need there are affiliate links here to buy what you need - just click the image to head to amazon and buy your own.

My cookies all start with the same base ingredients and you can add in what you like. Chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, toffee, nuts, M&Ms - whatever. They’re your cookies so make them however you like them.

Aliceson’s chocolate chips cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 cup white sugar

1 Bales Farms egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

Pinch salt

1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Heat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a stand mixer (you can do this by hand if you don’t have a mixer), mix together the butter and sugars until smooth. Add the egg and extract and mix until smooth. Add the baking soda, flour and salt and mix until incorporated. Gently stir in the toffee pieces.

Scoop dough out onto prepared cookie sheets. Rest dough for 30 minutes (in the refrigerator is best). Bake the cookies for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. (When the cookies lose their shine they’re ready).

Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes and then remove them and serve.

Sometimes I use 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips and 3/4 cup either M&Ms or chopped up Hershey bars. Sometimes I use 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup toffee chips or chopped Heath bars. Sometimes I use a mix of milk, dark and white chocolate chips. It’s really whatever mood everyone is in when I put them in the mixer.

Here’s the mixer I love and use all the time in the kitchen.

Here is the cookie scoop I have used for several years and the only one that hasn’t broken! I do recommend it for it’s usefulness and perseverance.

Here are the baking sheets I use.

I hope you make these cookies and love them like we do! I’d love to see your creations so please tag us on the socials.

Happy baking!
