Front Porch Conviviality EPISODE 9 Notes

Happy weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying some beautiful fall weather. It's glorious here - crisp, cool and colorful - we're actually in a second peak of colors they're saying. So not all bad in 2020, right?
I wanted to pop on and share with you some information from this week's episode. First up is Barry's cocktail, the left hand. Here's how you make it!
Barry's Left Hand (makes 1 cocktail)
1 1/2 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce campari
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
2 dashes chocolate bitters
Combine everything in a shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds and serve in a Coupe glass.
And here's the link for the wine I was raving about (truly, every bottle has been fabulous. I've shared it with friends who love it, too, so you know we're not just crazy). They have a lot to choose from - I ordered the mixed box of 6 - 3 reds and 3 whites. You can request bottles if you'd like and I will probably request a white I received because it is literally my favorite wine I've ever tasted (a 2019 Dalle Ore laGarganica). This time I let them pick all my bottles and they've been fabulous. We still have 2 bottles to go and we're excited to try them! They also have bubbly varieties to offer. . . .
So that's it I believe. Y'all stay safe and have a happy Thanksgiving! I know this year is not what we thought it would be but there's always something to be thankful for.
